Amazing!!!!
By Amazon Customer
I normally dont purchase books unless I can get them on my kindle, I like my purchases to be instantaneous instead of having to wait for shipping..lol.. However I really wanted this book and boy am I gald I got it. I have read so many books on true possessions, demonic hauntings etc. But this one is by far the best, it is freakin awesome. it explains the possession and the conversations the preists had with the demons verbatem and it wasnt just one or 2 pages like most books. This books starts off running, right from the first sentance you know its going to be a good book. Its going to be hard for me to find other books than can match up to this one. if you are a fan of stuff like this than this is the book for you. You will not be disaapointed. This story is true and it will scare you and more importantly it really makes you think about your life as a whole and where you want to spend eternity.

The Devil Rocked Her Cradle
By Sabrina Rutter
If you have read books about exorcims before you might have heard of the popular little book titled Be Gone Satan. I had thought about ordering it before, but when I seen how small the book was I decided against it. I'm really glad I did as it was a very censored telling of this exorcism and not as detailed as this book.
This book is very scary and I don't recommend reading this if you sleep alone at night. David St. Clair wrote this book in the form of a story so don't let the fact that he is a journalist make up your mind about reading it. I was worried about that fact myself and I'm glad I didn't let that stop me.
I know that the book Possessed by Thomas B. Allen is suppose to be the real story behind the movie The Exorcist, but The Devil Rocked Her Cradle seems more in line with that movie than Possessed. There were many things that seem to be taken directly from this story and used in the movie and even the book of The Exorcist. The only connection with Allens book would have to be the use of the Ouija board, and that's it. In this book there were a number of similar happenings. I'm wondering if the authors of The Exorcist didn't read these two books and use some of the ideas in their story.
The preists and those present during the exorcism of Mary had converations with the demons. This was a bit odd becuase I have read books about this topic before and the one thing they always say is don't converse with the Devil. In this book the Devil makes some predictions that have since came true and one that is suppose to be starting now. It's a very scary prediction/prophecy. The Devil is the prince of deception so hopefully that last prophecy was a lie.

the best story of demon possession I have ever read
By Clifford Kelly Howe
This is, without doubt, the best story of demon possession I have ever read. And trust me, I read a lot about this particular subject. The contents of this book speaks about one of the most notorious cases of demon possession in modern history. And while much of it is hypothetical and/or made-up to make it more "intriguing", the rendering of the account of the exorcism which took place in the early 20th Century at a convent in rural Iowa is nevertheless accurate. "The Devil Rocked Her Cradle" shows just how horrible true demon possession can be. The book gave me the shivers. After reading it, I slept with a crucifix within arms reach . . . just in case.
