About the Author
Drew Beechum, author of The Everything Homebrewing Book, has been brewing for more than a decade and has won numerous medals for his beer. He was the president of the Maltose Falcons, America's oldest homebrewing society. Mr. Beechum's work had appeared in BeerAdvocate and Zymurgy, the journal of the American Homebrewers Association. He lives in Valley Village, CA.

Great for keeping track of brew day

I got this book for Christmas and love it. It's a great step by step guide for tracking on brew day to record all the necessary elements in your process, especially when you are like me and are learning your process. I have been doing all grain for about 11 months and have struggled to keep track of all the various numbers each time. This book makes it easy to do so.
My only quibble is the lack of a spot for recording mash and brew house efficiency.
Great way to write everything down to transfer later into a spreadsheet or brewing program.

Good for beginners

As a new homebrewer, I wasn't sure what sort of things I needed to be checking/recording. This book is very useful in that regard. It isn't simply blank forms to fill out, though it has those; it also offers helpful advice and samples on how to document your brewing endeavors. Again, very useful.
